About to file AOS

Hey gang,

We're about to file AOS and I was wondering if we submit a copy of the long form or regular birth certificate for my wife? Can the long form be shrunk to 8.5 x 11 or should we just send a legal paper sized copy?

I sent them both short and long! My long form was photocopied onto an 8.5 x 14 legal size sheet of paper and folded for submission. I sent both because my long form from Ontario is a certified copy of the original which was handwritten by my mom and looks really ghetto. I didn't want USCIS to send me an RFE because it didn't look "official" (the Canadian consulates are used to them but maybe not USCIS) so I sent them a copy of my short form too.

Did you get an I-693A vaccination supplement filled out?

Yes we did. We had all her bloodwork faxed, since she had tests for the K1 medical, and the doctor transfered the info to the I-693. They sealed the evnvelope, but also gave us a copy.

I too sent my little birth certificate and long form...I did not however get the I-163A, and sent the copy that was given to me...lack of money at the time, and not being able to get myself to the doctor during regular hours stopped us from doing it. If we get an RFE we will deal with it then, but for now, we are just crossing our fingers
