Hello

After doing a lot of research on K1 visa application, the very problem I'm seeing right now is that we only have few pictures together. My fiancé shy away from camera and doesn't like taking pics of himself.  It's something I've known from the start and have learnt to accept and not everyone would understand that right? So we just enjoyed the moment and his vacation until he proposed at the latter part of his stay little did I know that pictures would come into play and would play a vital role in proving our relationship bonafide. I didn't know this is going to be a problem. So how to deal with this is something I'm still vague about for us to kick start with the application process. To be honest this is starting to stress me out.

Any advice?

Submit all the pictures you do have together, along with all other convincing evidence that you have met in the last 2 years, and have established a relationship.  How many photos is a few?

Airline tickets, boarding passes, hotel receipts, receipts to prove you were in the same place at the same time, even Facebook check-ins with date/time/location stamps (I submitted Instagram & Facebook posts) along with Whats-app daily call logs, time stamped with how many times we speak per day. We chatted via text, facebook, snapchat, and WhatsApp  - so I submitted screenshots of all. Take pic of the engagement ring, if there is one + receipt as well.

photos aren't that important. anything over one is just showing the same evidence. hotel statements, credit card statements. boarding passes and passport stamps are more important since they show you were both in the same place. photos can be altered with Photoshop and Facebook check ins can be faked by spoofing the GPS but money spent is much harder to fake.

chat logs are good showing communication but again a determined person could write a years worth of them over a weekend.

I agree with the post above. For the I-129F, photos are only secondary evidence. Proving a date & location with a photo is extremely difficult. They need evidence of meeting in person at least once within 2 years. I only submitted one photo of my fiancee and myself together in our I-129F packet.

For the interview at the embassy later, they will look at a totality of the evidence presented - chats, photos, call logs, etc. If you can physically be there for the interview (either at the interview if allowed or outside waiting if not), that helps too. What embassy is he going through / what nationality is he?
