I'm hoping to file the AOS paperwork this week, and I just noticed that the I-864 form that I am using has an expiration date of 7/31/2017. I downloaded the form from the USCIS website last week (and I checked today again and the document on the website still says 'expires 7/31/2017').

 

Does anyone know if there is a new form available somewhere? I just don't want to get an RFE for using an expired form...

You'll be fine using that form, since it's still the most up to date version on the USCIS website.

Marriage-based AOS from a L-1A visa
2017-04-07: Case received at USCIS (submitted forms I-485, I-765, I-130)
2017-04-17: I-797C Receipt received (for I-485, I-765)
2017-04-22: I797C Receipt received (biometrics scheduled for 2017-05-08)
2017-05-08: Biometrics appointment completed
2017-05-11: Travel form I-131 received at USCIS
2017-05-15: I-797C Receipt received (for I-131)
2017-07-25: Service Request made online for I-765. ETA to hear back: 2017-08-06
2017-07-28: "New Card is Being Produced" (not because of SR)
2017-08-01: EAD is being mailed to me, according to MyUSCIS
2017-08-03: Received EAD
2017-08-11: Received I-512L (Advance Parole)
2017-10-16: Address change submitted online
2017-11-02: Address change completed by USCIS

2017-11-24: I-797C notice date for interview
2018-01-03: Interview took place

2018-01-05: Green card approved (I-485)

It's not expired. That's the OMB expiration date. You're not the Office of Management and Budget. :P To be more precise, that's the expiration for the OMB to comment.

 

The Edition Date is in the lower left corner of the form. The current form has an edition date of 07/02/15. The edition date on the USCIS website matches this:

"Edition Date

07/02/15. A new edition of this form is coming soon. In the meantime, customers may file using the 07/02/15 edition.  Previous editions are also accepted.  You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions."
