First, let me thank anyone in advance for helping me.

I am a US citizen helping my parents to get green card. Now, their interview is coming up next month, and I would like to know the following:

1. Both their I-485 and I-130 are pending. I can understand I-485 is pending, but it is strange that I-130 is also pending... is that normal?

2. On the interview date, I will go with them. Does my wife need to go? on the financial Affidavit, I am the only sponsor, and we did not have to use the income from my wife.

3. Can I be the interpreter, or, do I need to find another person as the interpreter, can this interpreter simply a friend of mine?

4. exactly what document do I need to bring? the notice also mentioned I-693 and I-863, all these forms are part of the original application package - so that means I don't have to bring them again, right? In fact, I don't even have the medical form (I-693) at all, since I submited the original copy issued by the immigration doctor.

thank you for your kind heart, and I look forward to hearing from any help soon!

p.s. I forgot to mention that my parents are here in the US, not in our home country.thanks.

I am a parent that recently received green card sponsored by my daughter.

I-130 will be approved at the same time as the I-485   normal

No need for wife to go to interview .. You are the sponsor..  My daughter was the only person with me at my interview.

Interpreter .. This one I do not have the answer on

I took all the documents asked for in the letter but the IO did not ask for anything already in the file. Is the I-693 up to date?  I believe you mean I-864 and not I-863 ..  I brought my I864 but was not asked for it.

Bring all originals of supporting documents that you sent copies of in the package.

Personally I had all documents that were filed but left the ones that were not asked for in the car just in case.
