At this point, he needs to appeal to the base who voted for him, and independents+moderates as he did during the election. Thus far I'm pretty sure many independents and moderates are not impressed with him in the slightest, and relying solely on the left driving people to Trump's side isn't always gonna work.

 

For me, he's not even under consideration until he fulfills promises he made during the campaign trail like tossing DACA.

We can talk about tax returns (that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this thread) or who spent what on vacations or any other red herring but the bottom line is the OP posted a leftist article claiming Trump is responsible for the lack of funding for the secret service. That article was proven to be fake news. When that fact is brought up it is countered with one red herring after another. Let's try to stay on topic here which is the article the OP posted and the false information contained in it.

It helps explain why our Secret Service is spread thin, with all the jet-setting the entire fold of grifters in the WH is costing the America tax-payers. It also provides some insight into the hypocrisy of the so-called president and his criticism of the previous administration.

I mean, Trump is already being blamed for having a bigger family than Obama, and that they aren't locked down in the White House at all times.

Blamed?? It's a fact.  I don't think our government should have to worry about protecting any president's grown children.

And as much as republicans, especially trump, carried on about Obama's golf and vacation spending, somehow now it's perfectly ok.  Somehow trumps vacation and golf is just dandy...he's the president...what's the big deal?  Where was that philosophy during Obama's presidency?  And I'm a whiny snowflake hypocrit?  Ugh
