I wasn't even aware that you need it for the interview, but copies should be fine if you have to take it.

they only need original of passport, birth certificate and civil document at the interview but they will give u back.

AOS yes, but at least in London, they don't specify the NOAs. I might just take some copies incase anyway !

Very well. The officer was nice I'd say so nice :) he smiled a lot. I received my visa by hand yesterday

I rather have a little too much evidence and paperwork with me and them not asking it, then not taking it with me and they want to see it. I kept everything in a accordion folder, from NOA copies to interview appointment letter, evidence I was present at the medical (receipts) and a copy of my entire petition package etc etc. 

Not only does it show the Embassy or Consulate that you have everything together and well organized, it prevents common mistakes of forgetting to bring something. 

01/13/2016: I-129F filed  07/15/2016: K-1 visa in hand
10/13/2016: Filed AOS + EAD/AP.   07/07/2017: Permanent resident (Conditional)
04/16/2019: Filed ROC  11/17/2020: Approved. (10 yr GC)

 

Naturalization                                                        
09/02/2020: Filed (Online)    09/08/2020: NOA1: (NBC) 
10/22/2020: Biometrics Reuse Notice.  12/22/2020: Online Status Changed to Interview Was Scheduled.  
01/29/2021: N-400 Interview - PASSED! 01/29/2021: Same-day oath ceremony.

Not needed for the K1 visa interview but NOA2 is definitely needed for the AOS process. Best of luck!

What about if you have never received the NOA1, NOA2 nor NVC letter? I and the Petitioner and live in a foreign country. the mail service is next to non existant. And the USCIS already told me they wlil not send out any duplicate. So....what does one do at the AOS? I copied all the notices from the USCIS and Ceac sites since they received the petition. My fiance's interview is next Wednesday, so obviously we have all the necessary approvals.
