IR 2 visa for son-Administrative Processing

Hi everyone, I believe this forum will help me find solutions to my pressing needs. My wife filled for our son ( her stepson) because we figured that the processes will be quicker since she is a USC and I am a green card holder. My son who was 18 at the  time was called for interview on 2 occasions at the Ghana Embassy in Accra which he went by himself because of the age. During the second interview, the processing officer told him, they will need  a DNA report from him and  me, the father. In November last year, 2016, the DNA center in USA sent the final report of our DNA to the embassy in Ghana which the confirmed receipt. That is where everything came to a stand-still till date. The case status on the NVC case status website has remained the same for almost a year  - Administrative processing. Our countless Emails always returned with a change in the date of the administrative processing. Calls are not answered. When we called the NVC here in USA, the told us the case has been transferred  to Ghana so they cannot help us. My wife and I flew to Ghana in July this year and went  to the  Ghana Embassy to find out what is going with our son's case but they told they cannot help us and all we need to do is to send Email or call. They were not ready to listen to any explanation from us.  

Do we have wait and continue to send Emails. What should we do. Our son was 21 years this July.

Hi all. Thanks for giving me information about my issue. I sent another Email last week and they finally reply stating that they will look into my issue and get back to me.. They called my son the next day of receiving my email and told him to resubmit the DS 260 , medicals, and police report on a Monday or Tuesday at 1 pm. No other specifics where given. Can he go in for the medicals again without an appointed letter? I last time he did the medicals and police report was over ago. His he going to go through another marathon of interviews?
