I thought we had moved on.  Sure I know there are white supremacist groups, but those have largely been marginalized and until recently they received little notice.  Wiping out racism through some sort of political war will be just as effective as the war on drugs as the people that are hard headed will never change their deep seated beliefs.

Until recently we never had a so-called president unable or unwilling to call out fascists, Nazis, and White Supremacist's as having an evil mindset and beliefs that are the antithesis of what America, Americans and all previous Presidents stand for.

Nope, he's repeatedly called out hate groups, the left just like to repeat false claims as it makes their hilarious assertions seem like they have any validity. All emotional diatribe from people who can't get over November. Seems like their efforts of repeating this stuff is to convince themselves because they aren't convincing anyone else.

Based on topic likes this apparently we are not.
I don't underestimate the existence of racism and when someone says something totally ignorant I never hesitate to confront them. Sometimes its stupidity, sometimes its ignorance. But I refuse to label everything someone says as racism or white supremacy, i honestly never knew that word until I took classes from a professor. I

If something is racist depends on the situation and the circumstances. Having mixed kids myself I don't want to give them the message they are inferior in out society because some people belief so. Telling people you are a racist isn't going to help or add anything to bring them closer. If someone shows racist behavior use arguments to defeat them. If they still believe in their ignorant outdated ideas maybe its time to take some distance.

Racism from whites is largely evaporated as American society at large told them to shove it where the sun doesn't shine. These elements are relegated to societal fringes and corners of the internet.

As of 2017 a larger race matter is that the left are under the impression that its okay for non-whites and whites alike to be racist against whites, and this view is extremely mainstream. I think this is the next thing that needs to be stamped out to the fringes.

Honestly, I think there is (still) racism/prejudice from both sides. People say weird stuff; i think I've heard it all by now..Sometimes its very subtle and sometimes its right in your face.

People tend to talk about groups ( white privileged men, the Muslim terrorists) rather then in individuals.

Goes with the hive-minded thought process. People don't exactly demonstrate much individual thinking.

Example: Since this forum is about politics, just look at the percentage of people that tick the "D" or "R" vote regardless of who it is.
