First I wish to thank every single one of you for taking the time to respond to my numerous questions.

But here goes another.

I keep reading on various posts that credit card statements show validity of financial co-mingling, which I totally agree with y'all. However, if the statements do not show our names together, would it be ok, if you got a letter from the credit card company which states that we are authorized user on each other's accounts and for how long.

Thanks

If you can get the credit card company to write such a letter, that's great. But otherwise, what you do is scan and print your and your spouse's credit cards side by side, which show same credit card numbers but with your respective names and then throw in as many statements as you want to show your account is still active. USCIS is used to this.

Thank you @CookieCat

I do havbe a problem with scanning the card with numbers because one of my credit cards has a metallic fron with just the company name and the reverese has the card number and the CVV number. Even if i do blot it out, my mind is not at rest since CVV numbers are only three digits and it doesnt take long to figure it out.

What do you say?

Thank you so much lovely people. I am just thinking of sending in the letter that the credit card companies sent us. So that would be one company. As for the other, we have sstatemtns with both our names. Perhpas if it really needed then i will look at the scannning the credit card part.

Thank you very much :)

We submitted several credit cards with no numbers blocked out and so far, nothing went wrong (touch wood!). If you ask me, I'd say it's okay to show the numbers as you are seeking a very important immigration benefit for your loved one. However I can understand your fear which is very much justified. I would then suggest you blot out the numbers on a copy and then take another copy of the already blotted out copy. Make sure to blot out with a very dark color.

Also @CookieCat

Did you send the credit card statements and the scanned copy of your credit cards or just the scanned copy?

Sometimes you can go to the "profile" or "account" section of your credit card online and find "authorized signers".  We did that with one of our cards.

We sent in the print screen, a copy of the front of our cards, and a statement from each quarter.  We had LOTS of financial co-mingling.  If you do not, then send every statement.

Hello, hope this helps. Did your spouse get a card in her name on our account? With our AMEX card, they itemize which card has which transaction with corresponding names. This has helped as well with documentation for Visas from other countries....

Yes I would recommend blocking out numbers. We did that. Also, when applying for Visas from other countries for your spouse (mine is from A 'developing' country), enclosing copies of cards is risky with the numbers, So we block out ALL but the first two numbers in permanent marker.

I'm in a bit of a predicament: Me and my wife had a joint credit card (she was the authorized user), and we had the credit cards from day 1 from the date of our marriage. After a year, there was a fraud on our credit card statement, so we had to cancel the card and were shipped new ones. I ended up trashing the first credit cards since we were given new ones. Now that I am removing the conditions of my green card, I just realized that the current credit cards we have, don't match the statements before the fraud - it still has the old credit card number attached to the statement. I don't know if this would be a red flag. Any ideas here? Should I just not include my credit card statements and focus with the other evidence that I have: 3 year joint tax returns, joint 3 years of bank statements, 3 years joint auto insurance, 3 years joint lease agreements, 3 years joint home insurance agreement.
