Hi, wondering if anyone has experience applying for an eTA to Canada?

I plan to travel to Montreal on Monday to meet my friend. I applied for an eTA yesterday with my British passport  and haven't received any approval.

I applied again few hours ago using my Hong Kong passport and again, I haven't received any approval. Neither could I find my application status online.

The website says most applications are processed within minutes.

How soon was your eTA approved after submission?  If my eTA isn't approved, would the denial jeopardise my eligibility to travel to Canada and seek admission by land?

Thanks

Unless your eTA is not approved because you are inadmissible to Canada, it does not change your admissibility by land.
