In their efforts to drive political opponents from the public square, self-described “anti-fascists” (or “antifa”) are utilizing a disgusting and degrading weapon: human urine.

 

In just the latest instance of weaponized urine, counter-protesters demonstrating against a free speech rally in Boston on Saturday flung urine-filled bottles at police officers trying to maintain order amidst an already tense political climate.

 

The Boston Police Department sent out a message on Twitter urging demonstrators not to assault officers with urine, but it’s unclear if it had any effect. Boston Police Commissioner William Evans stated at a press conference later that day that protesters successfully hit officers with their urine-filled projectiles.

Portland Police Chief Says Antifa Protesters Used Slingshot to Launch Urine and Feces-Filled Balloons at Riot Cops

 

Portland Police Chief Mike Marshman said today that riot cops pushed antifascist and anarchist protesters out of downtown parks June 4 after the protesters used slingshots to launch balloons filled with urine, feces and unknown chemicals into police ranks.

 

Marshman also told Mayor Ted Wheeler in an open letter that much of the smoke seen as officers cleared Chapman Square wasn't released by police but by the left-wing protesters themselves. He says protesters "may have been using 'gopher gassers,' small rodent poison gas devices."

  Aha. You know, there are roughly 100 million registered voters on "the left". Perhaps you meant to blame this on the perpetrators of the act, rather than 'the left'?  

 

  I'm sure you would see it differently if someone blamed the criminal acts in Charlottesville on "the right", when it was a small segment of extremists who were responsible?

Wasn't it just a week ago where the MDL generally labeled any person who voted for Trump, or supported him a racist fascists?  Now that the facts of the other side are becoming clearer we get the "few bad actors" gambit?  Yes, generalizations are wrong, but they are wrong for both sides.

I just wish if the left thought this culture of terrorism was so great they'd grow a pair and move to that region of the world where their alleged victims are rulers. Clearly the thought process is, people must be fleeing because its so great.

   I've never seen that. If you can link where that happened I can comment. I've seen Trump supporters getting defensive by association and I don't know why. If I am calling out the alt-right, I am referring to that group specifically. I'm not suggesting all Trump supporters are part of that group. 

 

   If you admit generalizations can be wrong, then you shouldn't have a problem with them being called out. I'm sure you would call me out if you catch me. As you said, someone else doing something wrong is not really a defense for why we do it ourselves.

What link?  There were three or four threads here in CEHST discussing it.  Anyone that tried to take a neutral or both sides approach like Trump did were lambasted.

     Link to the thread, if possible. I don't recall anything attacking people who voted for Trump or supported him. I do recall a thread about white supremacists, a small minority of his support, but unfortunately I missed the end of that one.

I think you missed the discussions from many of the usual suspects likening the white supremacists to Trump's base.  Kind of falls into the category of Hillary's "deplorables" comment.  I assume that different people interpret them different ways, but regardless, the generalizations were there.
