F2A pending, Baby on the way. What to do?

Hello everyone, im an LPA and filed I-130 for my wife back in the Philippines. PD is May 27, 2017. My wife and I think that she is pregnant. We are just worried about what to do or what papers to file for the coming baby when the time comes that she gets her visa maybe in 2019? By that time the baby will be born. Thank you.

Well make sure you don't naturalize before then as then the child won't be able to come as dependent on F2A visa. You'll have to send in another I-130 for the child and wait for it to be approved.

In my case when I complete the DS260 and added my son to that form, they sent me an email requesting that I send a copy of his birth certificate which I did via email.  A few months later they sent and invoice for him and when I logged into the ceac.gov website to pay he was added. He was also added when I got my interview letter and moved to the US with me.  He was born in 2013, 6 years after my petition was filed - my category was F1 and I never submitted a separate i130 for him.  Not sure how different the process would be when filing as a marred LPR.

Thank you so much. I think I should just add the baby as soon as I get the birth certificate. I need to do more researching on what will be the process now. I hope they can come together.
