citizenship for a widow

hi i was filling out the n400 form for my sister (permanent resident for 10+ years) who is a widow and was married to a us citizen.what should i put on the current spouses section and also she does not have any information of her  husbands previous marriage

how long did her husband pass away ?  why she didnt consider filing citizen when her citizen husband was alive ?

around two years back...she  really didnt  thought about taking the citizenship at that time ...since other family members are filing for she wanted to do it for herself..by the way my father is a us citizen

I'm assuming she is filing under the 5 year rule?  If so, her marital status now cannot be held against her.

Since she is a widow, she can put "deceased" in the relevant spaces (ie. address) after listing his name,birthdate, etc.

 

Regarding his previous marriage, she can put "unknown" in the areas she has no familiarity with.

Just fill it out as best as you can with the info she does know.

If she does not have a copy of his death certificate, she should consider getting one as they may ask to at least see it during her N400 interview---they likely won't...but you never know, and better to be prepared than not have it and the IO asks about it.

yes she has  the  marriage and death certificates

Good luck with her filing.  It's pretty straightforward document-wise for 5 year filers so she should be fine

That would depend on her situation...how long has she had her greencard?  How did she get her greencard?

If she's been a GC holder for 14 years, she would apply under the 5-year rule as well.
