Finland incident: Police shoot man 'who stabbed several people' in city of Turku

Police in Finland have shot a man and are hunting possible other attackers after several people were stabbed in the city of Turku.

Witnesses reporting hearing multiple gunshots and seeing at least one person lying lifeless on the ground at the city centre's Puutori market square.

A suspected attacker was arrested after being shot in the leg, said police.

They urged people to leave and avoid the city centre while officers searched for other perpetrators.

At least five people are thought to have been injured, according to Finnish media.

Protip: Anything in 2017 in the US that claims to be feminist, isn't feminist.

 

The people from the real feminist movement in the early 20th century are likely all dead. And they accomplished quite a lot. It is always wise to remember what they accomplished so that we don't fall into the same trap again, despite it's extreme unlikelihood.

 

The people that call themselves feminists today are a joke. Post-2016 election these alleged "feminists" basically took over the well-intentioned marches celebrating what the real feminists did and turned it into a NeverTrump snowflake whinefest. 

 

Basically, the lefty movements destroying everything they associate themselves with. That's why for any real movement that prides itself on recognizing historical achievement, it would be wise to disassociate themselves from lefties immediately and forcefully, lest they want to watch their movement be taken over and wiped out.

Not sure whether it's because of the left movements or not. I consider myself as a feminist, but I don't recognize my values in the current feminist movement in the US. That's what I meant in the other thread about learning how to think independent and critical.....not just following the crowds that scream the loudest.

He is Moroccan, not sure whether he is a Muslim or not.
