Are you talking about a co-sponsor?

Ask family or friends. The sponsor does not need to be related to you, your neighbor or colleague could be a co-sponsor if they agree to it.

August 9, 2018: "Card in Production"

August 16, 2018: Green card in hand

Co-sponsor can be any of your family or friends provided that they are a US citizen and have documents to prove that, above 18yrs old that their income has reached the poverty guideline and that their own household will not suffer even if they come to your aid and sponsor you.

Remember that the person need not be a family member, nor do they need to live near you; cast your net wide.  Ask former college friends, old and current neighbours, old and current co-workers, church family, your third uncle twice removed....

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
