I think the era of the mass bombing or mass shooting is over. Everyone has a driving license and its super easy to rent a box van or small lorry.

With all the restrictions placed upon people driving, why isn't it stopping this stuff? I thought legal restrictions were a barrier to highly motivated individuals to carry out attacks.

My mom is in Barcelona, im relieved that she didn't go to Ramblas or Playa de Catalunya. It's always full of people and there is a lot of traffic, easy target.

 

So sad for the victims and their families.

The prius gas a pedestrian detection system which would have applied the brakes had it sensed a pedestrian.
