So nervous! I have been engaged to my fiance in the Philippines for almost one full year now, and we have set out interview date for Sept 20th! We have been together nearly 3 years, met on a Christian dating site. My last visit was September of last year when I proposed. I have since had to work a lot this year, and we wanted to save my vacation time for our interview, so it's coming!!

We're trying so hard not to be worried sick, but of course it's so tough...

I really want everyone's advice on our current evidence and feedback! We are so greatful for this community!! We're hoping the evidence we do have, collectively, will suffice (it has to, it's what we have!)

Our biggest, most extensive evidence: Viber messages dating back nearly all 3 years. I think the Excel document is somewhere near 70 pages of texts all throughtout the day..

Emails: We used to email far more, but over all - we WILL have a ton of emails (even a good bit since we applied for our K1) that we can print.

Skype: The best we could do with Skype was screenshots over time.. I have many with the dates showing 2 hour calls, an hour here, there, 3 hour calls etc.. I am thankful I started taking the screenshots a long time ago, to at least document date as well.

Our other main contact: Facetime. But this is discouraging, because I only found out recently that Facetime only appears on your phone bill as  "data". I always did my best to screenshot my call history which shows calls made on the dates... I also didn't know there was an "info" button that shows duration. Again, discouraging but we're trying not to worry sick..

Next I of course have my previous 2 trips' plane tickets, passport stamps etc.. We DO have a lot of photos as well (inluding a bunch of our engagement with her immediate/extended family).

I hear so many interview stories that go so many directions... Some people say we dont need to bring a ton (20 photos, 20 emails etc)... We just want advice and we're hoping for some positivity... Our interview is in one month!!

Also, she has all of our emails as well - but the Skype/Call history screens are from my phone/laptop (I, the petitioner was the one saving them).. Does this matter? Thank you guys -

I would bring as much info as you can. I had a binder of documents and a photo album I brought with me but they didn't look at any of it because I had a lot of documents when I first submitted the petition as well as the second time around when documents are to be submitted. Can never have too much evidence and if they've don't need it then they don't need it better to be safe. Good luck

I met my wife (then friend) in 2010 in a chatroom. Time passed and friends became lovers :) and I wanted to meet her and my B1/B2 got denied and I had to go to Dubai in 2015 on work purpose and she came to meet me in Dubai and we started our K1 process in July 2016.....What am saying is, from both ends we had lots of yahoo chats, e-mails, KIK chats, phone records, international calling cards, skype screenshots and pics from Dubai (we met only once and that too she was in Dubai for only 2 days). Also she put her flight ticket, boarding pass, copies of immigration stamps and hotel receipts from dubai trip. These are more than sufficient.

We didnt even have proper camera to take pics, we used our mobiles and she took prints at walmart

My wife and i submitted roughly 15 pages of communications covering 11 months of contact, a little over 1 page a month of samplings. This was in the Manila embassy last October, they did not ask to see them during the interview, so have them available but don't have an overwhelming volume, quality over quantity

Relationship evidence should come from both ends if you have them. Who saves which call or chat logs or e-mails, that doesn't matter. I don't exactly come from an easy embassy like London so we frontloaded our I-129F. My interview is next week and I will be bringing as much as I can. You can bring a sample of communication record over the period that you know each other if there are too many pages or too much to carry. Same goes with photos, it could be a sample.

Quality trumps quantity and it depends on how much you're comfortable in carrying. Additionally, definitely carry evidence from the period between I-129F filing and interview.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
