Don't panic.  ALL visas go through some form of Administrative Processing---every one!  Every case is different, and some countries require more time.  It could take a few days, weeks, or months......

UPDATE!!!! My status changed from "Administrative Processing" to "ISSUED" this morning!!! apparently if there are no issued with your case, your status might change from AP to issued in 24 hrs. Someon

the embassy in Jordan doesn't work on Friday and Saturday right? I hope during this week we, all of us, hear good news :)

Interview Date: Aug 17, 2017.

Interview Result: Approved.

VISA Received: Aug 21, 2017.

U.S Entry & Passport Stamp: Aug 25, 2017.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Nope, we weren't missing anything. It's just part of the process, some have it longer than others. I know some who have had AP for a year or longer.

 

We happen to be in Amman now visiting relatives. Thank God we don't have to worry about immigration anymore.

The color of the paper they give doesn't matter. It's what's written on the paper and the reason/reasons for AP.

This is not true. The color of the paper makes no difference. The reason for AP is what makes the difference.

But they informed you at the interview for me they didn't tell me anything .... I read your husband took 10 weeks they kept his passport for 10 weeks !!!
