Transfer from MSC to VSC

My case was transferred to VSC on the 26th of March. There still hasnt been a touch or anything else. The case status on the USCIC website states that the case was transferred to another location. My question is that should there be a notice from VSC stating that the case was received and that the application is pending. If thats the case how long does it take to get that notice.

Could someone please tell if they had an email stating that VSC has received their 129-F transfer from MSC.

From the information from posters here, after the transfer to VSC, they get an approval or RFE notice within 2 weeks.

The average time for approval varies from 40-51 days between NOA 1 and NOA 2.

My timeline is very similar to consolemaster’s. I received an email that my case was transferred to VSC, however I did not receive anything in the mail regarding the transfer.

I have not yet received any snail mail regarding the transfer to VSC either.

Today my I129F was sent from NBC to VSC, and they send me an Email staying that Vermont will be processing my case, I called USCIS and they already have the case in their office and they said to wait for a letter on the mail with the new change.

I received my e mail notice yesterday ( actually 2 of the same notices ) that my I-129F has been transferred to the CSC, along with a touch today. Reading between the lines of the USCIS e mail I get the impression that there won't be a notification coming via regular mail that the case has been transferred.

3/20/07 NOA#1's for I-130's

3/27/07 I-129F sent to Chicago

4/06/07 NOA#1 for I-129F

I got the snail mail version of the transfer notice today. The notice was dated on the same day at the email notice (4/10). It says on the notice (I'm paraphrasing) that the petition was sent to VSC to speed up processing.

actually we had the same exact problem - transfer to VSC notice dated 26th of March and 'case received and pending' notice dated 23rd of April. Looks like somebody forgot about us How much longer until NOA2?
