How long does usually take for the medical exams to be completed? And do you wait for the medical exam result before you schedule for an interview?

Medical is 2 days, and you can do medical on the first part of the week. Then turn around and do the exam either later that week or the next week. No you do not have to do medical before you schedule the exam. You can schedule the exam at any time but be sure to do medical before the interview.

But if you do not finish the medical exam including the sputum testing should you have to take it, you can still do interview but will get a 221g until your medical is done

Medical at SLEC is normally a 2 day process, Thursday is usually the least busy.   Many complete the medical and the interview within a week (or less) of each other.   I know of a few that did the medical, then a day or two later completed their interview.

You can NOT complete the interview until your medical is completed, the embassy WILL turn you away.

SPUTUM testing?  This is only required IF your x-ray shows an issue, then it is a 60 day process.   Children are checked with a blood test if they are too young for x-rays.

Yeah I did not write that part due to being on my tablet at the time. But you can not finish the interview until the medical is complete. They will ask you to come back.

Tell me about it.  Trying to type on my phone is even worse, plus you are missing so much of the "real estate" on the screen.  Greenbaum has a few adventures trying to use his phone also.

There was a person a few weeks back that wouldn't listen to us regarding the medical and interview, went anyway.. of course got turned away (well her dad got turned away).  So I try to make note on that when someone says - go anyway.

So if I schedule the medical on monday, should I also schedule the interview on thursday that same week or anyday of the next following week?

You can do it the same week usually with no problem at all, and that's what alot of people do because they have to come in from Mindanao or the Visayas. So why make 2 trips when you can just make one?
