Hi,

I had my AOS interview last June 15 and until now I havent heard from them. Based on the interview, it turned out to be pretty straight forward. My husband and I were just there for 10 minutes. The IO didnt even asked for any other documents except for my passport and our drivers licenses. And was told my GC will be in 2-3 weeks.

When I called by mid July to follow up, they said that I misinformed becoz Milwaukee's processing time shows that they were working on applications prior to my application date which was Sept 26.

Im just beginning to worry.

Please advise.

I'm sorry you're going through this! I'm not at the interview stage yet but I found this:

Thank you for the response and for the sharing the link.  Apparently, I need to wait for approximately 4 months. Oh well, I figured if there were issues that i would have heard from them right away and they would have send me something to comply, right? I appreciate your response

My online status only says my interview has been scheduled. This has been the case since May 15. My interview was June 15. But based on my interview, the IO never said anything about denial. She even said that I will ger mine in 2-3 weeks after my interview. I only have my EAD which is good until 12/31/2017. I just dont know whether I should start my renewal process or how long should I wait I dont want to go out of status.

I would also say try to call them regularly.  That way, you'll talk to different people and one might give you proper information.  Unfortunately, customer service lines are a crapshoot, even government ones.  I feel like a lot of customer service workers don't actually do much on their end during the phone call to help you out.  So sorry you're going through this! =(

I will give them a call this week. I just think that if there was an issue, they would have communicated early but then again based on the interview there was no mention at all about a denial. Thanks for the response

Doesn't sound or seem like your case will end in a NOID.  USCIS is still run by people and your case is a file folder in a mountain of file folders.  It's possible it just slipped through the cracks or the IO's are overloaded with paperwork and missed yours.  Calling regularly is a good idea.  Keep us updated!
