How to look at VISA Bulletin for F2A? confused?

Whats the difference between the two below? My priority date is 8th Nov 2016. Which heading shud i be referring too at this time? Approximately how much time shud i expect my interview to commence? Please note that my case is in nvc since April 2017

 

A.  FINAL ACTION DATES FOR FAMILY-SPONSORED
     PREFERENCE CASES

B.  DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED
     VISA APPLICATIONS

the first one is for visa availability,

 

once your case is complete, you will be waiting until your priority date is current for immigration to give you an interview date, that's what the first one is for

 

the second one is for when immigration can start the second part of the process to send you all the forms, receive payments and documents until your case is complete

 

if your case is complete, then you only need to be looking at the first bulletin

 

if you need to start your paperwork, then it's the second one

Hi, when did you get your NOA2( approval) does your case in California service centre. My priority date is 27th January 2017...

NOA2 is that the approval of NVC you are talking about? I received an email from NVC in april 2017 that my case has been approved but i need to wait for my priority date to get current. But dont know how long will this take?

Yes NOA2 is approval.. 1st step is when they receive your application called NOA1.. second is approval.. did u get your approval letter?

you sure your pd is 2016 and not 2015

this is where the bulletin is at now. if your pd is before that date you can get and interview, if not you'll have to wait for it to become current.

 I got the letter through email....it was sent through mail but couldn't receive it....I confirmed my case by nvc aswell....But how much time do i need to wait for the complete process approximately?

with f2a category its a 2 years process

It's a 2 year process in f2a.. My husband applied for me in January 2017.. I m expecting my interview in October to November 2018.. it's just a estimate dnt know it could be late or earlier totally depends on them
