Hey guys! Unfortunately my Fiancé's visa is still in AP.  Will be AP 6 months on February 23rd.  Medical expires February 22nd. Do they notify us if he needs to renew his medical? Also, does he need his passport back from Embassy for the medical again? Thanking in advance for all answers☺

The best thing to do is e-mail them. I had issues and i e-mailed them regularly and I would go the right answers. It's best to ask them because after you enter the US and if you re-do the medicals for Adjustment of Status it will cost you a lot.

Wouldn't they know that my medical is expiring? I just don't want to bother them if I don't have to😐

Nope. They don't care. It's you who should bother about expiry date of medicals, I-129F etc. Did they ask for any more documents during the interview ?

Medicals should be done way before your interview because it will take 2 working days to get your sealed medical certificate from the Panel Physician. Medicals done in foreign country is valid for one year so am guessing it will expire Feb 22nd 2018 ?

How  are you sure about medical is valid for 1 year? So far I know it is only valid for six months. Isn't it? I got few papers and CD on the day of the interview. It's clearly written there  with the validity of the medical exam  and vaccination 😉
