The first comment in the fake news link was "this is fake news" but it sure gets the shrinking base fired up! I hope responsible Senators and Congressmen don't pay attention to or react to stories found on the OP website. Despite the neutrality claimed in the sites About page, the stories read like too many posts on here. Silly!

 

For the record Trump tweeted nonsense in his initial response to this weekends violence. Correctly villified for his stupid Twitter post, he read a retraction like a post-torture POW with zero hint of sincerity looking like guns were aimed at him just off camera. Now he has clarified that he didn't mean anything he said in the press conference and stands by the Nazis and White Supremacist MAGA crowd which was obvious from the start.

Are you seriously arguing the so-called president's argument that " “You had a group on one side that was bad. You had a group on the other side that was also very violent. Nobody wants to say that. I’ll say it right now.”

 

I find it hard to reconcile the idea that anyone can express sympathy for a group of neo-Nazis. 

 

I can see Trump arguing the case after the Night of Broken Glass saying that the Nazis were bad, but some of the jews we too, and nobody wants to say that.

I believe that this is the wall of which Donald Trump spoke. It is impossible to go over it, around it, under it. His wall is impenetrable to the hammer of reality, morality, and last but not least basic corp American values.

  Well you're familiar with Russian history I imagine, so you probably have heard a few examples of anti-facists behaving badly. That doesn't make them facists; that is a political ideology, but it does run the risk that you are just replacing one form of extremism with another.

Trump correctly stated that both sides are bad. There was no sympathy expressed for anyone in his statement. It is delusional to think so. It is also delusional to equate antifa and blm with the jews on the night of the broken glass. The jews were oppressed in Nazi Germany. Antifa and blm are the oppressors in many cases when they violently attack people for differing political views. I would equate antifa and blm with the brown shirts of Nazi Germany.

Most conflicts I have ever witnessed have antagonists on both sides, and pointing that out is not supporting one side or the other.  Not acknowledging bad actors on one side is supporting those bad actors.

Well.. recall that the left think:

 

- It's irrelevant how many crimes illegals already illegally in the country commit, they should not be separated from their family and this > following laws.

- Michael Brown just had his hands up and was executed by a cop, all the proof showing he attacked the cop, and the videos show him robbing a liquor store, were fabricated character attacks, he was just a good boy #HandsUpDontShoot

- Trayvon was followed and hunted down by Latino white supremacist George Zimmerman, he was a good boy

- Terrorism is either non-existent or done by whites with guns, especially cops, against poor black victims.. showing statistics that blacks actually commit overwhelmingly more crimes against whites than vice versa is ignored, and you're likely racist for pointing this out.
