Hi guys,

My fiancée and I currently waiting for our NVC, and I understand the police clearance filled it out online, I already get mine here in Manila, but my problem is what about from the other country police clearance? I worked in hongkong for ten months. Is this a separate clearance? Please help. ☹️☹️☹️ Where can I possibly get it???

Check out this page: http://www.police.gov.hk/ppp_en/11_useful_info/cert_no_crime.html

And yes, it's a separate police clearance.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Hello Cindy 😊 nice meeting you too, well I'm so sorry I have no idea about that matters, because my fiancé petitioning me here from PI, I'm currently here and as of now we were waiting for our NVC to forward our case at the consulate Manila, and then after that is to sched my visa interview, I just want to be prepared for everything because the requirements for K1 visa is including the police clearance of the benificiary lived outside the country for more than 6 mos. it needs to submit, I worked in hongkong for 10 mos. I hope all is well, anyway, my advice is you better talk to your fiancé to contact USCIS what do he needs to do, or if he able to petition you from hongkong, but I guess he could.. I hope it helps 😊 Good luck!

Yes, it is a separate clearance. You have to get a police clearance from all countries where you lived for more than 6 months.

I have heard that those who came from UAE were no longer required to present their PC in the US Consulate in Manila but for those who came from HK, I think you guys need it.

I suggest you just obtain one. Better safe than sorry.

Good luck!
