I-130 petition for my mom

Hi Vj friends!

 

I became a US citizen on May 2017 and now planning to bring my mom here in the US. My husband and I is expecting a child and would love to have my mom here to help us with the kids. 

 

My question is, with I-864 affidavit of support, I do not make enough money for the household of 6, do we need to file a different form along with I-864 for my husband as my co-sponsor?

 

I'm sure I will be asking a lot of questions later. Any help and ideas with the process will be great

You already filed the petition and are now at the NVC stage of the process?  Or just getting prepared?

The DOS website states you both complete the I-864.  Here is the section on support documents (3rd section from the bottom of the chart).

Hi Hank! Thank you!! Planning to file the petition this week. Im trying to plan ahead and yes to be prepared  I thought I was done with the USCIS.

Thanks Hank! Yes, I'm due on January. We have been married for 5 years and we are excited to welcome our new addition. I hope all is well! You've been such a great help to everyone here.
