I would have to say having to be physically restrained in order to keep from hitting someone who cut you up in traffic definitely qualifies.

To the contrary I am always last to beep and could not care less about someone cutting me off.

What I cannot stand is idiots driving as if their car is a nascar on a nascar track. Only to see them total their car x miles down the road causing everyone else to be delayed a good 3 hours. It happens all the time on I-95..

We saw a bad car accident coming back from Up North last weekend... there was a destroyed car, a semi, and childrens' toys all over the road. All the people in the car went zooming past us in ambulances. It's very hard to see that.

Fate will eventually catch up to anyone who drives like an idiot. It makes me mad when these idiots survive yet the other innocent drives and family, they hit, are killed..

It's heavier, and the braking distance is longer due to the mass. I seen many reckless drivers here in Massachusetts trying to get ahead of semi. Little did they know the physics behind it. And, it's even worse if there's a very high wind gust.

Drive safely, and smart. Road rage will get you killed. I sometimes have that feeling when someone tailgate me because I am driving slower than them, but, I at the same time I tell myself " I am smarter than that driver, that driver have a higher risk of death than I do. " I remain in my lane until he knows that I don't want to switch lanes. Let him pass. Don't lower yourself to his/her level.

I am not surprised. There are so many idiot mini van drivers out there who think their 'min-van' is untouchable and a formula 1 racing car.. I hope that driver is proud of themselves for killing those kids..

Just the other day my wife held me back from getting out punching out an idiot driving a SUV, with kids, who was weaving in and out of traffic and nearly hit me.. I am talking about inches from hitting me..

You are not in control of how other people drive. You are in control of how YOU drive, and how you REACT to other people driving. I learned to drive in Dallas and those are some of the worst drivers out there, but it is not worth it to get all worked up. The person who cut you up doesn't care if you get mad, but I'm sure your wife gets pretty sick of it.

We need stricter regulations on Semi/Trailers.

Many countries do this as they cause too many incidents.

• They should be limited to far right lane and overtaking/passing only in limited areas.
  
• Their size should be reduced.
  
• Stricter safety of these vehicles
  
• Stricter rest-periods restrictions

I don't care about them. If they hit me, I'll report a hit and run and they'll pay higher premiums towards their insurance. Massachusetts is one state that controls insurance premiums.

IMO tho, and since i do live in florida, we have the worst drivers i have ever seen. especially here in Gainesville. We have the retard college students who have a car mommy and daddy pay for and dont care if it gets wrecked bc they will get another one. We have the severly OLD ppl who are either blind or cant see over the steering wheel and are blind, and we have the wealthy who think anyone below them should move over to the side of the road so they can get by.

I have never in my life seen worse drivers than i have in florida. And ive lived in ALOT of places.

AMEN. And don't forget the tourists that don't know where the ** they're going. They are part of this lethal mix. As are the often unlicensed drivers from south of the border.

I agree with driving safely and smart. But honestly if someone is tailgating you, move over as soon as you safely can and get out of their way. You only make them angrier and more likely to do something stupid if they have to move around you. I always want people like that in front of me anyways.

No. That driver was driving recklessly. He was weaving in and out of traffic at 90 miles. I saw him doing it in my rear view mirror.

What I meant is that if someone needs to cut in front of me or makes an honest mistake I do not even beep, unless required to avoid an accident. In comparison to most on the road twho think they own the road and should decide who merges and who does not merge..

#77 and let the police take care of it. The other day I finally got fed up enough with this one woman I see often on I66 during my commute. She does everything you just described - speeding, weaving, passing on the shoulder - and literally endangers the lives of everyone on the road. And it's not just once or twice that I have seen her, but numerous times. So I finally called in to report her and the police were very responsive. Dunno if this will stop her permanently because honestly people who drive like this just don't care. But at least on this one day it slowed her down. And if I see her doing it again, I will report her again. And if she gets stopped enough, hopefully they will take away her friggin' license.
