Timeline

GOOD EVENING MY FRIENDS :) I NEED A HUGE FAVOR!!!! FOR THOSE WHO FILED A K1 VISA APPLICATION....

 

MY FIANCE IS HAVING HIS INTERVIEW IN TWO WEEKS.... IF YOU PLEASE SEND ME A CHECKLIST OF WHAT EXACTLY I NEED.??

 

PLEASE!!! PRETTY PLEASE... IVE CHECKED THE DOCUMENTS ON THE CHECKLIST THAT MY FIANCE GOT ON THE EMAIL FROM EMBASSY BUT I AM CONFUSED.

 

THIS IS WHAT I HAVE SO FAR....

 

1.Affidavit of Support

2. Bank Statements (3 months)

3. Employment Letter

4. 2016 Income Tax Return

5. Divorce Decree

6. Passport

 

ANYTHING ELSE IM MISSING??? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!! MUCH APPRECIATED :)

Here is what my husband brought to his K1 interview in Casablanca, Morocco (in July 2017):

 

-Signed (beneficiary) visa appointment instructions page (received through email from Casablanca consulate along with interview appointment date) 
- Signed (petitioner) I-134 Affidavit of Support 
- Financial Support documents: 6 months of pay subs, 2016 tax return, letter from employer
- Beneficiary passport (needs to have at least 6 month validity) 
- Original birth certificate of beneficiary, as well as certified English translation 
- Original police certificate of beneficiary, as well as certified English translation 
- Original court record of beneficiary, as well as certified English translation 
- Original certificate of singlehood/celibacy as well as certified English translation 
- Two 5cmx5cm color passport photos of beneficiary 
- Medical Examination packet
- Appointment letter provided by Casablanca consulate (so they will let him into the building!) 
- Proof of ongoing relationship – Additional photos and chats that occurred after the initial filing 
of the I-129F petition 
- DS-160 Confirmation Page 
- $265 visa fee (can also be paid in MAD equivalent)

July 10, 2017: Interview
July 14, 2017: Visa in hand
July 27, 2017: POE at ORD

August 5, 2017: Married!

September 16, 2017 : NOA1 text/emails (receive date Sept. 12)

October 2, 2017 : Biometrics Appointment

October 13, 2017 : RFIE letter received in mail (they want an English translated Birth Certificate, which we included in the original petition...)

January 24, 2018: EAD/AP Combo Card in hand

August 9, 2018: AOS Interview (Approved)

August 9, 2018: "Card in Production"

August 16, 2018: Green card in hand

 

 

May 2020: ROC!

Yes, they accept cash in dollars or dirhams.

fiancee should have gotten a notice with what to bring

there are 2 criminal investigation reports 

 

if you have not sent the documents from US, do so immediately as even sending overnight with USPS takes about 10 days

and they don't have UPS or fed ex
