How did you send your forms/pictures/docs for K1?

Hi all,

This might seem silly to ask, but I was just wondering how people are primarily submitting their applications and documentation? I have a binder that contains tabs with different sections (actual application, supporting documentation like passport scans, etc). I have color photo print outs of photos from our recent trips together but I don't know the best way to send them (photocopy? Stick them in baggies?) so any tips are helpful! I just feel like the more organized everything is the more likely there won't be any issues

Thanks in advance!

Photos go in baggies and label them. Passport photos as well. Binders are unnecessary, I used folders and labeled them. However, even that is unnecessary, just paperclips or tabs are perfectly fine.

I organized mine more just because I didn't want my fiance to get confused with stuff.

The embassy will take everything out if you have big binders or folders, so don't go overboard.

I actually put real photos in my application too. Just get a few made at the photo store and put them in the application.

Use something that is easy to be disassembled because each application would be taken apart for scanning and rearranged according to USCIS' way. For photos, if they are printed onto a sheet of paper then collate the papers. If they are in actual photo sizes, stick them in a baggie and stick the baggie on a sheet of paper OR you could stick a few photos on each sheet of paper. Photo captions are useful like where it was taken and the date that it was taken.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

I taped my pictures to a paper with double sided tape, and am now printing color photos on a regular sized paper - it seems like it would be less hassle for the people looking at the application and for me.

Okay, on this subject I'm wondering about supporting documentation from social media, specifically calls and messages using media such as Line, What's App, Viber, etc. It's really the only way I connect with my fiance when we're apart.

Would it be best to just assemble multiple screen shots from the phone (4, 8, etc.) onto printed pages?

Unless those messages establish that you've met in the last 2 years or describe how you became a couple, they're not necessary at the I-129F stage.
