Hi VJ folks,

New to the site here, but would like to know if processing times differ based on a beneficiary's nationality?

I've read quite a few threads on this site, and the general consensus is that it takes ~6-8 months to get NOA2. My spouse (beneficiary) is German, and when I look on the IR1/CR1 Spouse Visa timeline (below), with setting filters to Germany and TSC, the average Total Days is just a little over a 100 days. Is this accurate, considering most others are waiting over 200 days for NOA2?

Insight will be much appreciated.

Many thanks!

It is still case by case even if all are of the same nationality. But obviously it will still be variances between embassies, countries, regions, etc.

There is no perfect formula to predict accurate times.

I have a feeling there are a few direct consular filings in the list. You apply for a CR-1 but if both spouses live in Germany, then the couple can process it via the embassy in Frankfurt - the whole process then takes 3-4 months in total.
