a proof of dominicile you can pass is your federal income tax

You may want to check this cover letter that we presented to the consular officer at the time of our interview in establishing the petitioner (my spouse) domicile to United States.  A gentle suggestion, if possible make sure that during the time of the applicant's interview, the petitioner must be present.   Establishing a proof of domicile is very sensitive matter, its a case to case basis and not always the same to a given  petitioners and applicants.  No matter amount of papers the consular officer received the day of the interview, if they aren't convince enough that the immigrants will not be in bad economic situation once migrated to United States, there is a possibility that they will ask the petitioner to fly back first without the applicant, find a job, and get a house.   There was a case here in Visa Journey, that the petitioner were advised to fly back by himself without his children, and the requirement from him was to sent the plane ticket to the USCIS, US EMBASSY MANILA with a proof of his employment (copy of job order in USA), and a copy of receipt of rental payment.  During our interview, the consular officer meant us to put on administrative processing (three times), but the good thing by answering his answers persistently together thank God we were approved.  But there were other cases also that interview wasn't tough.  Just showing all the possible scenario that might come up so be persistent, and be prepared .  PRAY. Hope this helps.
