My coworker Chris is actually from Calgary. He is here under a work visa and overall a good guy. He takes our jabs of weird Canadians quite good and gives some as well. But it was funny hearing him debate the USA's current stance on immigration with a guy who immigrated Legally from El Salvador, they had a vigorous debate about illegals, assimilating, and deportations. What I thought was funny is Chris was all about people not assimilating, speaking English, and pro-illegal. All the while the guy who immigrated legally from El Salvador was very much adamant about people speaking English and assimilating.

Plenty of diverse views, I mean, it was funny watching leftists in Calgary protest Trump at the American consulate building. It's like on the 30th floor, and the protesters didn't even protest at the right building, they just went across the street to Tims (Tim Hortons) and pretended like they were doing something useful.

I also had it out with a local radio station (660 News -- people who primarily do weather and traffic, but also occasionally do city/national/international news) because they kept regurgitating in November/December this CNN garbage about Trump and impeachment. For the prior year and a half all I heard was typical non-stop negative trash about Trump and praising Hillary. So I called them up to ask them if they were a Canadian wing of CNN or an NPO.. of course, they said NPO. So I threatened to appear at the next city council meeting where the station would renew its NPO status and object to it, which would start a massive public debate about their "news". Sufficed to say, they toned it down substantially.

Sorry I didn't see this part until after my previous comment.

I actually took everything out last weekend so my wife could clean underneath the bed(yes underneath the bed because of not alot space in the apt). So I made sure everything was good to go with the flak jacket and tried it on to fit it better since I lost 25lbs. I also recycled my magazines by taking the ammo out of them and putting the ammo into the previously empty magazines. You don't want to leave them loaded for a long time.

Don't get too skinny!

No, I ain't at all. I just got up to a weight I hated so I decided after Christmas last year to get in better shape. So I did and overall I am 25lbs lighter than I was but far short of the 35lbs I wanted to lose. I was on my last until I had minor surgery last month to not have anymore kids. So that took a couple good weeks to sit back, eat, and heal.

Honestly I hate Kirin beer, it is WAY to dry for my taste. But I like to drink both kinds of Sapporo beer, actually I just finished the last of a 6 pack of it I had in my fridge last week. My friends call me a beer connoisseur because I like to enjoy some good beer. Wither that is Asian, European, or American, I don't care as long as it tastes good. I am not much into the whole IPA craze here on the West Coast, but I will drown myself in a good Kilkenny or a Golden Ale.

Sapporo is good stuff. I usually have a couple when we go to the local Japanese restaurant. I get a kick out of their cans, you could seriously hurt someone with one of those, even if it was empty.

Lol, I am not chubby just some extra pounds is all. If you look at me I am a stout guy. I try to go to the gym six days a week sometimes multiple times a day(if I can get away with it from the wife), and I am very much in to working out/body building. I just noticed that I was partying to hard at my neighbors drinking to much tequila, and eating to much fried food.

Well thank you I am kind of fond of it myself. I love tequila but I drink it more in moderation now. It's not good when you can just walk down 100 meters to the local store to buy some when you run out.

Well it depends because you have to cross a busy street, so you have to navigate the cars. But it's about 5 minutes there and 5 minutes back, not long at all actually.
