See if you can request a more current print out   Usually the bank will run a  special statement easily.

I can its just that i had more money deposited at that time thats why :P

If you are using savings as an asset to fulfil the financial sponsorship, they may want to see the funds stable over a period of time , not just at a single point in time.  If you are using income to meet the required support level you don't need bank statements, you need proof of ongoing income such as payslips for the last few months

I'm the beneficiary.I'm an f1 so i don't have income  ,its just checking account

they will want to know where the money came from and potentially how it was gotten. especially for a f1 to make sure you didn't just get some friends to transfer it so you look like you have a lot and then give it back once you have the visa.

I don't think that's what's being stated. Just that you can't give them one bank statement and expect them to accept that as proof of your assets. I would suggest sending the most recent 12 months of bank statements. Or, preferably, getting a signed letter from an officer of the bank stating:

1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance; and 4) average balance over the past 12 months

Does the petitioner meet the I-864 requirements already? Is their income sufficient? If so, then no assets are even necessary.

If your joint sponsor meets the requirements, you will not need bank statements for you or your petitioner. Petitioner needs to complete i864 and last years tax return .

Oh ,okay.I already sent the package but yeah my joint sponsor meets the requirements .Thank you very much
