I have the same question as you have, because we also live in the US.

So far I found below info,  and it seems that we need to send to Chicago, IL.

However, I am not sure. Because I don't know if we fall into the category of section 329 of the INA or not.

2.  Applications from Current or Former Members of the Military, Spouses of Current Members of the Military, and Close Relatives of Deceased Members of the Military

If you are filing your naturalization application under the military provisions in sections 328 or 329 of the INA, you must send your application to the address listed in the table above. If you are a current military member, the spouse of a current member of the military, or are the close relative of a deceased family member (see section 319(d) of the INA), send your application for naturalization to the address below:

          USCIS
          P.O. Box 4446
          Chicago, IL 60680-4446

For FedEx, UPS, or DHL deliveries:

          USCIS
          Attn: Military N-400
          131 S. Dearborn, 3rd Floor
          Chicago, IL 60603-5517

Only the active duty soldier can file their citizenship under military. The spouse can not (The spouse can only do so if he/she is military as well)

I’m a military spouse. I passed my application to military lock box in Chicago. They accepted it.

I was told that you have to be in the military yourself to be allowed to do that.

You paid to apply right?

Yes, I paid. Active duty members only are free. As long as you’re married to active military or prior service member you can pass your application to Chicago Lockbox.

The Chicago Lockbox is also used by Military. You can check the website. There are other Lockbox the people send their applications and it depends on area of location. But Chicago is definitely for Military and ordinary applications which serves that area.
