Video posted to Twitter shows protesters surrounding the statue and chanting “No KKK! No fascists! USA” as several protesters appear to pull down the statue with a rope.

Fort Worth's Jefferson Davis Park was bought in 1923 - at height of the KKK in Fort Worth - and when many other sites/monuments were built.

It's the right thing, but done the wrong way. They'd be more successful by demanding legislation to remove all statues and confederate flags from public spaces, and put them in a museum, where they belong.
