Has anyone done a k1 visa with a cosponsor successfully? Or does someone have knowledge of this?

A lady told me that in algeria cosponsors are not always approved. Does anyone have experience with doing this? I live in the United States. If so, how much income did the cosponsor make if this is a personal story?

Hey...you will have to see the following for the amount of households and how much income you will need to show. https://www.uscis.gov/system/files_force/files/form/i-864p.pdf For K-1 visa you will look under "100% of HHS poverty guidelines" and 125% is when you do the adjustment of status at later stage.

 

My wife's (then fiancee) income was very low compared to what USCIS was asking so her co-sponsor was her father and her nephew and we were easily accepted without any issues but make sure all the documents are correctly prepared.

For K1's with co-sponsors, a lot depends on which country the beneficiary will interview in.  So where is the foreign fiance from?

I believe she said foreign fiance is from Algeria.
