Sweden may have been "neutral" during the war but when Denmark was occupied in 1943 we welcomed the majority of the Danish Jewish population. I say majority because some were arrested by gestapo, some committed suicide and some died when their boat sank. So yeah, the majority of us doesn't have any warm fussy feelings towards nazis.

No one said you must, but you weren't alive then and neither were any of the people at this protest.  I think just throwing the label "nazi" on a diverse group of protestors is de-humanizing, just like when their main speaker was calling the counter-protestors animals.  Anything to not see them as people, eh?

Well, the bigger question is does it make them less human in your eyes?  Do you think they should be arrested for saying that?  Rounded up?  Should they have their speech censured to what you think is acceptable?

 

How far are into Hitler's toolbox are you willing to go while claiming to be oh so different?

 

For me, I want no part of it.  Any infringement of rights is one step towards another dictatorship.

Which is exactly what your photo is trying to show, by the way, that gun control could lead to another Holocaust.

he's just been reassigned while they investigate. there's another cop that cracked a similar joke, i can't remember where, and he's on paid leave.
