Did USCIS do many times home check ?

Hi guys, I am looking for a help with my status. Last week two ladies come to my house to check me and my husband, but cause I have work so far away my house. I often sleep my mother in law home from Mon to Wed, so when the ladies check was Tuesday, I am not show on home. They asked lots of question about our life to my husband and then let my husband call me. But cause it too earlier.i did turn on my phone ring. I didn't pick it up the phone. The two ladies call my work place ask for talk with u. Mybco worker just leave the name and number and message to me later, I.was calling the lady like two hours after.she made a appointment for phone meeting on later. She ask me lots of questions those are similar like asking my husband. I think our answer is 90% correct and same. But the lady say she will do more investigate and we may have another interview. I don't know what is going on of end.  Do they come to second home check? They went to my husband work place to check.but unfortunately I didn't showing his work place cause he just work there one month. She didn't come to work place and come to my mother in law home to check. I hope someone can help me if you have the same situation before. Thansk

Sounds like a home check.   They may of suspected the marriage was not in good faith.  Sometimes I think home checks are good, they see where you live, things in your home, and able to tell if the spouses are living together.  I would not worry about it.

Is this only one time for home check? Or they do many times? Cause I was not at home when they came. I slept on my mother in law house cause it only few mins to my work place. I don't think they felt satisfied when they see I am.not at home. And they ask my husband few times about did u want to cancel the application. I am very nervous. My ex status is F1, and I was married with my husband after my graduation 30 days .They thought I was only for my green card to married with my husband. Sigh

Most times it is only a single visit.   They just want to make sure all has been check. 

 

They will ask questions, strange questions, a lot of times to see how the US Citizen reacts, to feel them out to see if there is a case of fraud in some cases  stay strong, you can do this!!
