Hello everyone,

I am in the due process of applying for employment based work visa and I have a question regarding the visa Screen : credential assessment. I filled out the application and I am now waiting for for to receive all the  rest of the document from my state board and school.  My question is , IS it worth it to pay the $500 expedite fee or not.

Thanks Sofia

Why not, your Employer pays.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

That's pretty odd.  Normally the employer picks up the fees since they desire you to work as soon as possible, they would usually pay for the expedite. No one who is hiring to fill a position is going to wait 6 months (especially with the current administration) if they can avoid it.

If they are not willing to pay for it, I'd look for another Job then risk my own money on a "maybe".
