The 'Not My President" movement has existed for a long time. You can pretty much find material to that effect to presidents going back a while, as well as impeachment talks. We went through the same story when Obama was elected, and Trump speared the birther movement.

I'd rather see Trump resign, rather than being impeached, and save the country from another one of his embarrassments.

George W had a lot of "not my President"ers.  Obama had the same.  I remember soldiers saying that they'd refuse to salute him.  This is nothing different.  

 

I dont think that he should be impeached for this, but his competence is lacking
