i 130 forgot to add previous marriage

-  I need help .

-  My wife failed to disclose her previous marriage while filling the i130 (mail everything last Friday the 11) .

-  Her divorce was final in August 2015

-  What should i do ?

not including divorce papers will most likely result in a RFE, once the previous marriage comes up in background checks, I believe. Did you not add any information regarding the previous marriage or just forgot to add the divorce decree? I don't know if it could cause any further problems than that. 

you could in theory send the missing document to USCIS but I've read that sometimes the effort is futile since they might not add it to your case, hopefully other people with more experience can assist you better on that one.

My opinion is, have the divorce decree with translation if necessary, send it if you can with a letter explaining that you failed to include the document, and have it ready to send it in case of the RFE.

I am citizen filling for her . Also she never tried to adjust her status from the previous marriage .

she forgot , but we just order her certified divorce decree online.

You should just wait for the rfe at this point. They might ask your wife in the interview why she forgot to mention her previous marriage. It's something that's kind of hard to forget
