Me too, I've already purchased land in Upper Labay in my fiancés name and we are going to start building a home in 4 years once my home in America is paid off.

We bought land like 6 years ago(3/4 of a acre) that we were going to build a house and live. But a typhoon went through her place and affected her family. So this year we decided together to sell it due to it being to remote and renovate her family's house.

I'm sorry to hear that, but good job helping the family. I feel like I'm always sending money for random things they need but it hasn't exceeded 500 a month yet and hopefully never will. Most months 300 bucks does it, but there have been a few months with extra expenses. Do u send money to help the family or is that just a me thing.

Yes we do as well. Just understand it is a very Philippine thing to do for them to send money home to help the family, and the family WILL expect that as well. They will think that she is rich now, so explain to her that you both have to set a limit to it or a set amount every month. If/when she gets a job she will more than likely want to send some back as well, but just explain to her that it helps the family here to save most of it. My wife made it very apparent early that we ain't no atm at all, we will only send X amount every two weeks unless there is a serious emergency or special occasion like her nephew graduating college.

So it's been 90 days officially since my fiancé and I got our NOA1 , can we start calling and asking what's going on with our NOA2? If so what number do we call?

Also do anyone know how long May filers for CA are estimating right now?

Thank you !

Kelly :)

People from February haven't received approval or RFE. The processing date just changed to February 1st for the USCIS. So until you are 6 months outside the currant processing time, they will just tell you to wait.
