DId you apply for AP at the same time as you applied for your EAD? Is the EAD you received an EAD/AP combo card? You need to have applied for and been granted Advance Parole to leave the country while your AOS is pending.

Do you have your Advance Parole yet or no? If you do NOT have the advance parole then you can not go to vacation at all until your AOS process is complete. Did you file for Advance Parole when you file for AOS?

I just read this part so if you did receive your AP then you CAN go to Canada for vacation. Just make sure you bring the AP paperwork with you when you go.

That's not quite true. AP is only good for getting back into the US. Until OP actually gets the green card, a visa is required for Algerians wanting to enter Canada.

Yeah I forgot about that sorry. I was thinking coming back from Canada.
