What to say at POE

My fiancé and I have applied for the K-1 fiancé Visa. She is visiting for less than a week. She has her interview scheduled and we have declared on the DS-160 she intends to visit. It's not secret she's coming. When she gets to the POE, she has her letters from work showing her income and that she's gainfully employed in Mexico, we have the interview next month in Mexico, which shows she intends to return, she's overstayed before, and she has her return ticket. We've heard horror stories of them denying entry just because you said you're visiting your boyfriend/girlfriend/fiancé/husband/wife/lover/etc. We wouldn't lie, because that fast track to losing your Visa and any hope of one for a long time. But what SHOULD she say? Is that enough documentation? Should we be worried? Should she say boyfriend or fiancé? I imagine they'll see we have the application in process and they'll already know who I am when she declares where she'll be staying... just wasn't sure if boyfriend or fiancée was the smarter route to go...

She should truthfully answer any question she is asked.  It seems you have done your homework regarding documentation to show ties to her country.......Good Luck.

she's overstayed before

This MIGHT be a point of contention at the border.  She may need to be prepared to answer questions at the POE about this, since she hasn't been approved for the K1 visa yet.

EDIT to add:  I see this thread is over a week old before being brought up again, so I'm assuming she's across the border already.

Whoops, I meant to say she's NEVER overstayed before... I also meant to update this thread, she got in with no issues, they didn't even ask to see her documentation of ties to her country. We have our interview a few weeks, I need to update my timeline!
