K-1 Visa a Second Time?

Hello!

I travel a lot and a few years ago I met a girl in Europe. She and I were together for three years and went through the K1 visa process. It was granted to her, she moved here for a year, and then the relationship crumbled. She returned to Europe, forfeited her papers, and we divorced. She handed in her greencard, too. She now has no more ties to the US, and I have no more ties to her.

Now, three years later, I traveled again to Canada and met another girl who I'm deeply in love with. This time, it's real. But, I worry about doing a K1 visa again? Is it possible to do it a second time for a different girl, once we're certain that this is what we truly want? I recall a question on the application asking if I've done this process before, and that worries me.

Thanks

Yes, you could do another K1.

However, since Canada is so close, maybe it is better if you marry and do a spousal visa. She could visit and you could visit easily in the meantime. Spousal visa has a lot of advantages. Plus, I doubt your K1 would be denied, but it seems you just met this other girl and they are going to require extra evidence the second time around.
