The latest alt-right rally over a Confederate statue represents a terrifying resurgence of Nazi rhetoric.

The alt-right rally Friday night at the University of Virginia campus and Saturday in the city of Charlottesville is technically about a statue of Robert E. Lee. But common to many participants in the rally is a willingness to use — and celebrate — Nazi symbols and ideology.

Friday’s protesters shouted anti-Semitic and Nazi-associated slogans, including "blood and soil”: a phrase that references the German ideology of Blut und Boden, or the idea that a person is defined by his or her relationship to ethnic ancestry (blood) and the land they cultivate (soil).

Protesters also shouted “Jews will not replace us” (a more explicitly anti-Semitic take on “you will not replace us,” a white-supremacist alt-right slogan that arose in response to actor Shia LaBoeuf’s anti-Trump performance art piece “He Will Not Divide Us”).

Attendees at the rally also wore Nazi paraphernalia, carried flags with swastikas alongside Confederate flags, and wore shirts with quotations by Adolf Hitler

He didn't resign as fast as the left could tweet that he had no condemnation of this event..

 

Clearly he's part of the white supremacist group and much be impeached.

`Look at the flags between those 4 holes behind him.

 

Normal people use a Par 3-5 (250 - 600 yards), but Trump can't even play golf without 5 feet between each hole.

Clearly Dear Leader appealed to, and emboldened the segments of society allegedly marginalized, and whose existence we were told, was all in the addled minds of Black Lives Matter. Got to love yet another example of others having to clarify what Dear Leader meant even though he had most of the day to simply Tweet something clearly. Golfing and encouraging virulent racists is hard!

These idiots are part of the reason Trump was elected. Of course he's dancing all around it trying to find a way not to call them out by name. Until he says it on camera to the American people that he fully denounces what these white supremacists did yesterday then the statement means nothing.

 

All he has to do, is get himself off the golf course and hold another conference and clarify. He won't though because he's a coward.
