Just sharing...(I know it's greedy of me to call so soon but it helps to keep positive)

I received NOA2 on March 30th

Called NVC today. They haven't received my application and had no record of it in their system. The rep stated they estimate 5 week processing upon receipt. She encouraged me to call weekly to inquire on status)

We all feel that way (wanting to call everyday just to get an update) :D

what about your acct on the new uscis page? was it changed to "sent to the dept. of state" yet? if so, you can start counting exactly 1 week from that date instead of "case approved" date, and then call to ask if they have received your case.

What’s up guys! My name is Daniel new to the forum even though I have been following it for a while! Called the NVC today (I have before) they received our documents on March 14th and I was informed that I had to wait 8 weeks to get a cc, however, today I was informed that the timeframe is 11 weeks.

Hopefully that’s not accurate.

God bless you all!

Pivot cases are taking on average 8 weeks while some are waiting beyond 9 weeks. It is a matter of luck, I think. If yours is a regular case, most people get case numbers in 5 weeks. After you get a case number you will pay various fees, fill in various forms and send in your documents. After all those is done, your case will be in line for a review before you get a case complete (CC). NVC quotes 11 weeks for case complete, but I have seen people getting it within 6 weeks.

Just called NVC today to make sure they have really received my case, plus, I kinda missed bugging them too lol. :D

Well they confirmed that they received it but, "Not in the system yet. It will take about 11 weeks :( then we'll mail the welcome letter."

<_< 11 weeks

We need an 'angry' reaction button here. It will be the most often used one, I am sure.
