Both of us got the email! :) If you provided your email addresses in the i130 petition you should get the welcome letter by email. By the way, the AOS and IV fees are paid electronically so you need a US bank account. Get ready your routing and account numbers :)

well yes, my wife and I submitted our respective E-mails, so, you receive the welcome letter, then the Case Number and AOS pay become avaiable and then DS261 filed online (Choose of Agent)...

Thank you.

It's the standard steps to follow that you already know of, I am sure, because you have studied the NVC Wiki religiously! I would say the email is not really useful except that it contains the bar-coded letter that you need to submit with your packages. Otherwise, I would take the advice of VJ members! For example the welcome letter states that you need to wait 3 weeks after completing DS261 to make payment. But for me the AOS opened up at the same time as the DS261. And I also got my husband to call them to review the DS261. No way I am going to wait 3 weeks for that. We haven't got the time! :P I will let you know how fast the IV fee and DS260 opens up for me!

I´m not going to wait too, one VJ member that I know make both payments at the same time! And got interview date !

Well I will give them the compass wait of 2 weeks and them start calling them!

Ok standard steps, sorry it´s that my brain is receiving a lot of daily info in the training and I arrive really tired and to keep virtually studying and completing exams!

My PD is August 1st at TSC and no NOA2 yet, it's been 210 days. Seems like TSC going slower than NSC by now. I submitted case inquiry 2 weeks ago and I got this reply:

"We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently with an adjudicating officer. You should receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days."

Anybody else going through the same thing?

Has your petition been approved yet? I had an expedite approved on 2/15, the letter said we should get a approval etc within 45 days on our petition. I called a few weeks ago to open a service request and got the same response as you about the "additional review...60 days blah blah blah" The wait is so frustrating. Have you called to see what the additional review is or the status on your case? I contacted my senator for help a few weeks ago but still haven't heard back from their office, they are backlogged too so it could be awhile before they can get an update for me .  When I called USCIS for an update they just say its still pending, apparently there was a touch on 3/28, I am hoping to hear something soon!

Honestly, it is early days yet. It took me 5 weeks from the date NVC received the case to get a case number. If they are not advising 4 weeks, I think it is a good sign. They were quoting 8 weeks before.

No, 247 days / 8 months and still no news. I don't even want to remember about it anymore. My husband contacted tier 2 officer and didn't get the reason for additional review, instead they said "it's still within normal processing time and we haven't asked you anything so just wait for 30 days"

He also contacted senator's office but we haven't heard from them yet. I am considering to forget about it and ask my husband just to live in my country.

@Jhonny I received my IV fee 2 days after I completed DS261 and paid my AOS fee! DS260 hasn't opened up yet because both AOS and IV fees are still in process, but calling them to review on the phone definitely speeds things up! We are ready to send our AOS and IV package tomorrow. Hoping for a speedy SD and CC!

Just feel like at a loss right now. Being in between having the NOA2 and waiting for our case to be received at NVC..there's just no right thread to stay at. 😔

Anyway, I'll just hang around here since most of you here are within my timeline 😊

Sorry just venting a little frustration. 😩

You can hang out at NVC April filers thread and see what's going on, to prepare yourself for NVC. Or you can always hang out here since we will be around till all August filers have moved on to NVC :D For me, while I was waiting for NOA2, I was spending a lot of time in the NVC threads as well as the tax forum. It's very important to know exactly what's going to happen going forward in order not to cause delays :)
