Congrats and welcome to the next battle-- NVC! Currently taking 5 weeks to get a case number for non-pivot cases and 8 weeks or more for pivot cases.

NOA2 GUYS! 221 Days.

11 days after RFE NSC received (they answered it reslly fast)

Can´t believe it, out of NSC!

Pivot cases are those who will be going through electronic processing. That is, you won't be submitting hard copy mail of your documents to NVC. You will upload everything. There is a list of embassies that does electronic processing but I heard that they are in the midst of making changes to it, so nobody really knows what the new embassies are.

Aviation! I am intrigued by airplanes. I guess it's just my way of dealing with the very, very long flights I have to take to see my husband  On the other hand, the universe seems to be hating me because lots of things haven't been going well. I am hoping that things turn around now that I finally have my case number!

Yes, I`m Flight Dispatcher and I worked in Cuba in my city International Airport and now I have the opportunity to work here in Colombia with the 2nd oldest airline in the world and the most important in Colombia, and one of the most importants in America!

Exactly 5 weeks from the date NVC claims they got my case. I say 'claims' because they have always said 23 February but one guy last week said 19 February!

So based on this, NSC said they send my case today, then I shouls expect the NVC case # by the first week of May!
