All you guys waiting for NOA2, other than familiarising yourselves with the NVC stage (documents to gather, forms to fill etc.), I recommend also looking up the common checklists people get for NVC! The wait will be there, so why not do something that will greatly speed up your next stage?  I have learnt so much from this forum over the last few months and I cannot thank everyone enough for your generosity in sharing information or just simply your moral support! We are all in this together!

How did you confirm if NVC received your file? Did you call them and ask or you get email from them? Also when did your online status for i130 changed to "send to DOS" ?

Is NVC only for people who’s spouses are currently living outside the US? Because my next step is the i-485, I’ve never heard of NVC until now.

I definitely agree on that! Would be nice to get an approval, its been a long journey so far, would be nice to finally hear some good news! Early September filers are getting approved already!! Patience to all of you on here!!

I have kind of a dumb question. I can't figure out why the consulate on my timeline says Armenia? It has always said that, but I don't remember putting that in. I would think it should be India, because my husband is from India, but when I go to edit it, India is not even an option for me. I didn't know if its just something that auto populates or what?

We called NVC. My i130 case number never worked till we received the hardcopy NOA2 on 15 February. When I checked the case status online a few days after getting NOA2, it already said that the case has been sent to DOS on 16 February.

I may be wrong, but you may be looking at Bombay (Mumbai) for your consulate?

From what I understand, yes. You may want to do a search on this forum for Adjustment of Status, since most of us here are applying for an immigrant visa from abroad

Oh my, I just woke up and find this! Wooohoooo, such a great news! Definitively, March is being a good month, see how many aprovals guys, how many August Happy Dances I´ve made, and is just 8 ! Think positive guys, this month have 23 more days for bring us aprovals!
